Fun Fact: During our early days of reopening after the devestating 2003 earthquake, we entered a local taco contest with the production team of Univision from Santa Maria (local broadcasting) for who had the best al pastor tacos from Santa Barbara all the way up to Monterey. We came in first, and our owners, Maria and Ignacio, got to visit the Univision Studios in Miami, Florida, to star in a small segment of Despierta America to display our award winning tacos!
